Multiparticle Dynamics on a Triangular Lattice
Lorentz Lattice Gas models are used to understand diffuse particles moving through a medium represented by a lattice. In the literature, the gas is assumed to be diffuse enough to that modeling a single particle is sufficient. We extend one such model on a triangular lattice to an arbitrary collection of particles with different speeds. There are substantial changes in both the geometry and long term behavior of the dynamics with the addition of more particles. These changes provide a striking illustration to the complexity that can arise in multiparticle systems.
