Group transition within networks
A commonly held belief is that most people get their jobs based on who they know and their skill set. My research is focused on predicting group dynamics in employment using both performative data and social data. In particular, we have used data from the NBA as it is easy to determine groups and set time intervals when group membership can change. We have used performative data and social networks to make predictions as to who will leave a group and where that person will go.
