Title

Middle Grade Teachers\' Mathematical Meanings Regarding Geometric Reflections

Abstract

Teachers’ instructional decisions are important in mathematics classrooms as instructional decisions facilitate the learning opportunities that exist for all students. Teachers’ mathematical meanings, defined as a combination of teachers' mathematical knowledge, conceptualizations, and mental images, influence teachers' instructional decisions. By examing teachers' mathematical meanings, regarding geometric reflection, we can better understand teachers' instructional decisions.
