Universal (N,M) Cloning in d dimensions.
Quantum cloning can be used in communication, cryptography, hacking and measurement. In this presentation, the focus is on Universal Quantum Cloning, i.e., state-independent cloning. I will discuss cloning fidelity as a function of the independent variables N, M, and d which are respectively the number of original states, the number of clones, and the dimension of each state. I will also discuss how to derive the cloning transformation coefficients and highlight the entanglement structure of the cloning transformation.
