Stem Fair
Dust off your resumes and get your clothes dry-cleaned, the semiannual BYU STEM Fair is here! Connect with future employers and network your way to the top through workshops and activities that are directed at helping you! All students majoring in science, technology, engineering, and math fields are invited to attend. Stem Fair Checklist:
- Complete your profile on Handshake so that recruiters will meet YOU prior to the fair. Be sure to add your skills on your profile.
- See who’s coming to the fair! Do you have a specific company in mind? See if they are attending the fair! You can also see which majors each company will be looking for at the STEM Career Fair Company List.
- Research potential employers to prepare for an interview, then opt-in to a resume book for the company you would like to be considered for on BYU Bridge.
- Scope out job positions! Get familiar with Handshake, our online job system. You can view job postings, on-campus interview schedules, and upcoming information sessions at Handshake.
- Pre-Register TODAY for STEM fair! To avoid long lines at check-in, register NOW at Handshake.
- Get more time with recruiters! Volunteering at the Career Fair is a great way to get more face time with recruiters, leaving a lasting impression on them. Sign-up to volunteer!
- “Dress for Success”! Remember that the career fair may be your very first interview for your internship or career position. Dress appropriately for the interview.
- Get prepared! Attend one or all of the Pre-STEM Fair workshops or information sessions to network prior to the fair.
