Synthesis of Simplified Yaku\'amide A Analogues

Abstract

 

 

Yaku’amide A is tridecapeptide with a characteristic cytotoxicity profile, very scarce in nature containing β-hydroxyamino acid (β-OHAA) and α,β-dehydroamino acid (ΔAA) residues  fig. 1 Due their challenge synthesis and isomerization of their α,β-Dehydroisoleucine (ΔIle) residue is necessary the synthesis of analogues  replacing  residues previously mention with dehydroethylnorvaline and dehydrovaline amino acid. (Mark in red). Computational studies suggest that this analog will keep the properties of the original peptide.
