What does it look like when I facilitate movement toward reform teaching from within my secondary math teacher collaboration team?
The purpose of my project is to describe what it looks like when a member of a secondary mathematics department tries to facilitate departmental movement toward reform teaching. As a Mathematics Education graduate student, I read about and study teacher reform and then share conceptualizations of interest with my peers in the workplace. I will describe what other members of the mathematics community have found related to facilitating reform and then share how I scheme to facilitate conversations between the mathematics teachers in my department.
