Title

DOTKey: Better Typing on Touchscreens

Abstract

An average person types 40 words per minute with a standard physical QWERTY keyboard. Typing on glass with speed and accuracy is much more difficult—40 wpm approaches the upper bounds of extremely fast typing on a glass surface such as a tablet or smartphone device. Using proprietary calibration detection techniques and gesture mappings, we have created an easy to use, fast, and accurate solution to these problems.
