Title

Purposeful Gaming Framework

Abstract

In this work we present the Purposeful Gaming Framework (PGF). This framework enables software developers to create engaging 2D/3D and VR games that contain in-game programmable entities. In this way developers can create engaging gaming experiences that introduce/teach/test a wide range of programming concepts. We also present a demonstration game that showcases the educational potential of the PGF.
