Action Research as a College Algebra Teacher’s Assistant
For about 2 years, I have been a Teacher’s Assistant for the Pathways College Algebra Math 110 course. My research involves my reflection on how this experience has prepared me to be a math teacher. I will report on what I have learned in three areas related to teaching: applying principles from my math education courses; preparing for and reflecting on teaching instances; and participating with a collaborative team.
