Computer Science Curriculum Design
In the world of science, Computer Science is still a relatively new area of expertise. As more and more advances are made in this realm, it’s seems important to pause and ask--how can we best be teaching this complicated topic to a diverse and growing set of students? This question becomes especially relevant when one considers the prevalence of mobile computing, virtual and augmented reality technologies, and the internet. In our work we consider the question of curriculum design in the absence of traditional curricular constraints such as semester/term length, section and classroom size, the “silos” of traditional courses, etc.
