As a Product Specialist you will work as a member of the Qualtrics University team helping some of the world’s top minds take their research to the next level. Responsibilities include the following: quickly becoming an expert on the Qualtrics Research Suite and supporting software; solving complex technical support problems both independently and in a team environment; clearly communicating solutions back to clients through phone and email; training and teaching clients on specific and new aspects of the Research Suite platform; actively troubleshooting and testing processes to discover gaps in product functionality; and continually adapting and developing in-depth product knowledge and learn new technologies.

Mickey Leland Energy Fellowship
This program provides students with an opportunity to gain and develop research skills with the Department of Energy’s Office of Fossil Energy for 10 weeks over the summer. For 20 years, this program has increased awareness of DOE research opportunities to students pursuing STEM degrees (science, technology, engineering, and math). The goal of the program is to improve opportunities for women and minority students in these fields; however, all eligible candidates are encouraged to apply. Stipends start at $600 per week and eligible Fellows will receive an additional travel and housing allowance.

The Scholar Program gives each participating student-Scholar an opportunity to interact in a plant science-related research environment, develop practical research skills and build relationships with scientific mentors. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—Salt Lake City, UT
The Natural Resources Services Section (NRS) of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is looking for a student who has graduated with a bachelor’s degree in geology (or engineering) and is currently enrolled or waiting to attend graduate school.  The position is temporary for up to six months and will involve working with oil and gas professionals. This person will evaluate selected Church properties for oil and gas potential by reviewing property files and updating Petra maps, generating maps, cross-sections, and economic analyses, recommending actions regarding development proposals, and generating reports.

Major Field Test in Mathematics (December 2014 graduates)
Students are required to take either the GRE Math Subject Test or the Major Field Test in Mathematics (MFT) the last semester before they graduate. If students have taken the GRE subject test, they do not need to take the MFT, but should provide the university with evidence of having taken the subject test and the score received.
