Microsoft—Redmond, WA
Job responsibilities include diving deep into code and working as part of a team of programming experts who solve problems and build powerful new tools. You will collaborate with SDETs to ensure stellar product quality, and you provide technical guidance to PMs as they communicate user needs and product requirements. Qualifications include pursuing or within six months of graduation with a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field, and 1-2 years of experience programming in C++, Java or other computer programming languages preferred.

Software Development Position
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—Riverton, Orem, or Salt Lake City, UT
This is a 40 hour per week internship that is expected to last approximately 4 months. Internships will be for winter, summer or fall of 2015. The intern will be assigned to assist in software development activities on current Church projects. A skilled and seasoned mentor will be provided to guide the intern during the internship. Examples of activities the intern will accomplish include specific development tasks in various programming languages, unit testing, debugging and correcting defects in code, meetings with project team members and customers, reporting on current activities, working with databases and issue tracking systems, and working in both individual and paired programming assignments.
